Week 2

This week was so fun! It was amazing to see how much they've grown in just a week. Who know's by the end of the season we might even be able to take on the Sun Devils!

This week's captians were Jake and Nico.

Game started off by length of the field touchdown reverse by Jake. Then our defense did a great job of shutting the other team down. In fact, the boys did so much better this week on defense! I was so proud of them! Jesse, Max, DB and Blake were flag maniacs that's for sure!

DB had a great TD pass to Jake at the end of the first half to give us the lead! We tried two different times to go for the two point conversion but both times either the pass was high or the ball was dropped but we were soooooo close! That's the progress we're hoping for!

Lastly, this week was much better for kids doing their best running the plays. We had several plays that just didn't work out the way we intended but it was much better than last week!

Way to go today boys!

Last Saturday was a great kickoff for this year's flag football! Here are some photos of some of the fun drills that were set up..

The Mustangs worked really hard in practice this week and had a great first game. We scored one touchdown on a hand off from Jesse to Jake. There were a lot of great defensive plays everyone worked hard on offense. We lost to a great team, 18-6. Watch for updates, video clips, and pictures for the upcoming games.
